PHEW!!!!
What a year and a bit…..!!! Our pilot store in Edward St was a huge success
but as our ‘wicked lovers’ know, an astronomical rent increase forced it’s closure.
Luckily for me though I had already been sniffing around for a second property
and Ashgrove is the lucky suburb. We have changed our concept slightly to
7 day trading and a larger property with seating, so week-ends I am sure will
be very hectic!
Throughout the year I have continued to receive very positive feedback via this site and personally in the store - thank you! I also offer my apologies to those who are frustrated by our City closure but be rest assured, I am sniffing around the CBD to re-open as soon as possible.
It will be my pleasure to see all my loyal customers at Ashgrove and welcome new ‘lovers’.

The day begins at brot, those who walk by know the aroma,
with hard-to-resist croissants, swiss chocolate filled croissants,
and pastries. brot’s WICKED barista often has an early
morning queue, waiting customers happy to chat while their
fresh grind coffee or loose leaf tea is being tailor-made.
Gourmet rolls and bread loaves are next as brot’s ovens
gear up for the morning trade. Those in the know, know, the
best pretzel is one straight out of the oven!
PRETZELS
…are still Brot’s absolute front runners!
For those who did not see our ‘Godfather’ salami and brie on Italian Panini rustico voted best sandwich in Brisbane in GQ this year…. You can see (and taste as well) in our Ashgrove store.
